Wakebit Privacy Policy

Wakebit ("the App") is developed and published by CodeX Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

In short: Wakebit does not collect, store, or sell any personal data. All alarm, step-count, and app-preference data stays on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your location
• Alarm times, labels, or schedules
• Step count or motion data
• Device identifiers used to track you across apps or websites
• Any analytics or usage data

How the App Works

Wakebit uses Apple's AlarmKit to schedule and trigger alarms, and Apple's Core Motion framework (CMPedometer) to count your steps so you can dismiss an alarm by walking. All of this processing happens locally on your device using Apple's system frameworks. Your step and motion data is never sent to us or to any third party, and it is not stored outside your device.

Advertising

Wakebit displays banner ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect limited technical information (such as your device's advertising identifier) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive, access, or store this information ourselves — it is handled entirely between your device and Google. You can review Google's practices here: policies.google.com/privacy. You can also limit ad tracking at any time in your iPhone's Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking, or via App Tracking Transparency when prompted.

Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties, because we do not collect any in the first place (aside from the limited ad-related data described above, which is handled directly by Google/AdMob and never passes through our systems).

Children's Privacy

Wakebit does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected by the App itself, no such data exists on our servers to be reviewed, disclosed, or deleted.

Your Data, Your Device

Because Wakebit stores all data locally, deleting the App from your device permanently removes all associated data. We have no servers or databases containing your information to delete on our end.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the App adds a new feature that involves data collection — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
